Kurfürstendamm, known also as Ku'damm, is among the most famous boulevards in Berlin. The street takes its name from the former Kurfürsten (prince-electors) of Brandenburg. The wide,broad and long avenue may be considered the Champs-Élysées of Germany's capital city.
